ARWIMONT specializes in the production of forged discs for butterfly valves.

They are applied in different types of butterfly valves which cover a wide range of applications in Food, Beverage, Chemical and Pharmaceutical industries.

Forged discs are made in two kinds of stainless steel - 1.4301/1.4307 (AISI 304/ 304L) and - 1.4404 (AISI 316L). At the customer's request, the discs can be made of other types of materials.

Our forged discs are offered in different diameters from DN 10 to DN 200 and 1” to 6”. Surface roughness (Ra < 0,2 μm) Precision in execution and specific fibers position of our forged discs ensure higher mechanical resistance than the one in cast discs.

Forged discs do not have any blowholes and contraction cavities which characterize cast discs. Disc surface as well as radius are polished to a mirror shine. High precision in all dimensions and regular shapes, without any sharp edges ensure correct disc setting in sealing, making it a truly leak-proof combination.

At the customer’s request discs can be marked, which is important in product identification.

All discs are manufactured based on the customer's wishes, documentation and tools which are prepared for each customer individually.
